Hello again readers,
I titled this project the zig zag house as the lines of facade dart back and forth. In essence this is a courtyard house, where the different rooms all face an internal open space which is partially concealed from the street. Only when you pass through the entry do you realize that it is there. The house is in the Richard Meier aesthetic (all white) yet there are many styles in play in the design. The house is feature-packed with a lap pool, rec room, home gym, and a separate studio space accessed by elevator for fellow artists to work in. In the living quarters, there are 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and a 2 car garage. I designed the property to showcase a sculpture collection that the owners have acquired over the years. Every room showcases at least one work of art. Additionally I designed an entry gate for the property as well. You can check out the photos below and the video which takes a walk around the property. Additional photos will be added in the coming days, so check back often for future updates.
