Hello again readers,
This week we are going to return to modernism. This design borrows elements from every Mies Van Der Rohe designed home in the US (keep in mind that there were only ever 3 houses designed by Mies built in the US, the Farnsworth House, the McCormick House and the Morris Greenwald House). I believe that this may be my favorite design of all time, thus far. This 3 bedroom/3.5 bath home features a glass garage, an infinity edge pool, an oval office, numerous gardens and an iconic loggia that wraps around the motor court. I also designed a small gatehouse in the style of Mies to accompany the house. This monument to Mies is best sited on a hillside overlooking a great vista.
